Tips for Proper Jewelry Care

In order for jewelry to remain in its original condition over time, it requires care to maintain its shine. So, to help you achieve this, we give you some tips to guide you in their proper care.

TIPS

1. Avoid direct contact of jewelry with perfumes, creams, cosmetics, and other chemicals.
2. Avoid packing all your jewelry together in one box. There is a possibility that they will get tangled together or get scratched.
3. Polish your jewelry when removing with a fine microfiber cloth.
4. Remove your jewelry while sleeping, as there is a chance of it getting cut or tangled together.
5. Remove your jewelry when doing manual labor so that it does not come into contact with any cleaners that may be used.
6. Avoid direct exposure of jewelry to the sun.
7. Do not wear your jewelry in a chlorine pool or in the sea, and remove your rings when washing your hands. Also, avoid using your jewelry while taking bath using bath salts or other products.
8. Make sure to keep each piece of jewelry in its own separate box and not on exposed furniture.

How to Properly Clean Your Gold-Plated Jewelry

Our jewelry also needs care and cleaning just like our clothes. To clean your gold-plated jewelry, you should be careful as you should not use inappropriate materials that will lead to their discoloration.

One of the simplest methods is to add a little dishwashing liquid to lukewarm to hot water and let your jewelry soak for 10-15 minutes. Then, after removing them from the soapy water, rinse them with warm running water and wipe them very well with a thin soft cloth.

We recommend using appropriate cleaning methods, such as gold-plated jewelry cleaning cloths or professional cleaning.
